Dinagyang 2009 Food Fair to Showcase Best Ilonggo Culinary Delights
The best of Ilonggo dishes will once again take center stage during the four-day Dinagyang Food Festival in Iloilo City.
Happy Abenir, president of Iloilo Hotels Restaurants and Resorts Association (IHRRA), said the food festival, which is one of the major highlights of the Dinagyang Festival, will be held on January 22-25.
Abernir said 36 IHRRA members have already signified their intention to join in the food fair to showcase unique Ilonggo dishes served in various hotels and restaurants in the metropolis.
Nightly live band performances will be held at the food fair area to be located along Delgado and Valeria streets, Abenir added.
She said the food fair will serve as a venue for local and foreign tourists to enjoy the mouthwatering Ilonggo dishes while enjoying their stay in Iloilo City for the weeklong Dinagyang festivities.
